What is your cancellation policy?
Answer:
A 24 hour notice of cancellation is required if you cannot keep your scheduled appointment. You will not be required to pay the fee if you call within this time period. If you do not cancel within 24 hours, you will be required to pay the full fee for the session. Insurance patients who are “no shows” will be required to adhere to the policies of their carrier which will include co-payments.

How long does therapy last?
Answer:
Therapy is a very complex process. People seek therapy for a variety of reasons ranging from mild anxiety disorders or phobias to conflicted relationships and serious personality and psychotic disorders. The length of therapy treatment depends upon the presenting problem (length and severity), the chemistry between the patient and me, the patient’s commitment to the process and their financial circumstances and/or insurance coverage.

How often do we meet?
Answer:
Therapy sessions are at a minimum of once per week. Two or more sessions per week are sometimes suggested and encouraged. Multiple sessions per week accelerates the therapeutic process and the healing of the patient’s present problems.
